A friend sent me this picture via e-mail the other day.  The tag line that came with it read "organizational chart".  Although this picture was meant to poke fun at corporate culture I didn't find it funny at all.  You see the bird sitting at the bottom left with the most crap on his face; that's me.....  I am sure a lot of you can relate to this.  I hate gravity =0(

Hi everyone. Our family is selling our 2000 LS400.  Although it is 5 years old the car only has approx 25k miles on it and has been kept in a garage until only recently (last 2 weeks it got bumped out to the drive way).  We are looking to sell it for approx. $28k.  The price is negotiable.  Please contact me at spooners423@gmail.com if you are interested.  Must sell soon!

My most recent experience with racial profiling

Some of you might know that I am traveling for work this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Surprisingly, it is pretty cold out here this time of year.  During the nights it dips down into the 30's and during the day it gets into the low 60's.  Along with the cold temperature the air is also very dry.  This morning while I was waiting for my co-workers to come down to the hotel lobby, I decided to visit the hotel gift shop to purchase some lip balm for my chapped lips.  Not wanting to look through the whole store, I asked the guy at the counter if they sold any chap stick.  I got the following response from the store clerk, "I am sorry, we don't sell any chopsticks".

I was so surprised by his response it took me a few seconds to gather myself.  It was so racist I actually found it funny.  He was a little embarrassed after I clarified what I wanted. This got me thinking.  If I was black and I asked him for "Chiclets" (a kind of chewing gum), would he of told me they didn't sell any Chicken?

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to Korea with Yoomi

It was really hot over there the whole time, especially in jeju the island at the southern tip of Korea where my in-laws live.  If you look really hard at my shirt you can see all the sweat.  We were pretty lucky that the weather was pretty nice the whole time.

The In-Laws

Yoomi's mom and dad were pretty thrilled with the idea us finally being able to visit them in Korea.  Yoomi's dad planned a fun filled itinerary for us while we were visiting him in Seoul and Jeju.  We took wedding pictures, had a tradition Korean wedding, site seeing, etc. Of course being that my in-laws are Korean they are pretty fun people to hang out with night with too.  Yoomi's dad took me to Karaoke where he got totally wasted and started to play drinking games with me (he was so gone, Yoomi had to drive us home).  Yoomi's mom took us to one of the largest night clubs in Korea (clubbing with mom, WTF!).  The owner ended up drinking with us and talking to me in Korean all night.

Dad was too busy pounding the beer down to actually pose in this picture. J/K

Picture of us in one of the old palaces in the middle of Seoul.

For our first night in Jeju, Yoomi's dad got us a bungalow near the beach.  For some reason I really think he is hinting that he wants grand children soon.  Sorry to let you down Dad but I don't think that is in the five year plan.

Now that school is over many of us are going our separate ways to pursue other things in life.  Charlie will spend most of his time now taking over the family busniess in China. We through him a little going away BBQ this last week and here are some of the pictures to remember it by.

A picture of the guys I hang out with in Arcadia. (I don't even know how I got to know them since they all went to the same Middle School and grew up together, I guess I was sort of adopted).

I think James was trying to take a shit in the pool? (Actually he was in the middle of winning the water treading contest we had)

For a guy that just pissed in his pants, Roger looks like he is having a good time.

Just another picture of me and Yoomi. (winning everyone's money)

The roomys at 1250 together for graduation. Makes you want to

Maybe because we are all so busy with life we should give this Xanga thing a second thought.  As for myself I will try to update a little more often (maybe twice a month).  I hope all my friends will update theirs once in awhile so we can all know what's going on in eachother's lives.
